The Way of God’s Economy—the Dispensing of the Divine Trinity

God’s economy is His plan to dispense Himself into His chosen people as their life, their life supply, and everything to them. But how is it possible for God to carry this out? What is the means for Him to dispense Himself into man? The New Testament reveals that God’s dispensing is carried out through the Divine Trinity. Only by virtue of God’s triune existence is there the means for God to dispense Himself into man. Although the Bible does not reveal how God is triune, that is, three in person, yet one in essence, it does reveal why God is triune. God is triune for His dispensing into man. God’s dispensing is from the Father, in the Son, and through the Spirit.
